Study in Ireland
Ireland is an Ideal destination for students wishing to study abroad. Ireland has one of the best education system in the world. It is the quality of Education in Ireland that has driven the unprecedented growth in Irish economy. Ireland has low unemployment rate so parttime student jobs are easy to find.
Student Visa :
Before granting an Irish Visa the embassy tries to satisfy themselves that each student meets number of criteria, such as,
The student is a bone fide student, they have a genuine college place and that their primary motivation for coming to Ireland is to study.
They paid their entire years college fees in advance and can demonstrate with bank, statements sufficient funds to support themselves for the duration of their stay.
The student meets the English Language Proficiency requirements.
Documents required
1. Educational Documents
This includes all academic credentials, achievements and IELTS. All achievements must include both mark sheets and examination certificates. This should include proof of English Language proficiency.
2. Financial Documents
A sworn affidavit from the student's sponsor confirming that they are supporting the students stay in Ireland. A maximum of two sponsors are permitted.
A Bank Statement showing a consistent balance of greater than Euro 10,000 over at least a six month period. The name on the Bank statement should be clearly identificable.
3. Other documents
Students VISA application form: submitt two copies of this form
Three recent passport sized photographs
VISA FEES: Contact local Irish Embassy for Visa processing fee
Valid passport: two full copies of the passport Resume
Statement of Purpose
Original acceptance letter and the confirmation of the fees paid. This letter will include a statement that the student has paid the full private medical insurance.
Accomodation :
There is a wide range of student accommodation available in Ireland. These include university halls of residence, privately rented independent housing and living with a host family. Students should budget approximately E600 per month to cover all living expenses in Ireland.
Part-Time Work/Jobs
Ireland has low unemployment rate so part-time student jobs are easy to find. International students at the higher education level can work on a casual basis (upto 20 hours a week) during course time and full time during vacation periods, provided this does not interfere with their study program.
